Terms of purchase

This is a courtesy translation. If there is any difference between this text and the Spanish version, the Spanish version prevails.

1. The seller

2. What you are buying

What is bought is the right to show an ad (a title, an image or, instead of an image, a background color over which the title is shown, and, optionally, a link) in a rectangular area of the pixelhome.es board. Each pixel is sold only once: the area bought cannot be sold to anyone else.

3. Price and payment

The price is €1.00 per pixel (VAT included). The total amount is shown before paying.

The price shown is the minimum. The buyer is free to pay a higher amount to support the project. Paying more does not entitle the buyer to more space or to anything else in return.

Payment is made by card or by the other methods available through Stripe, a secure payment gateway. The owner does not receive or store card details.

While the payment is being completed, the chosen area is reserved for a limited time. If the payment is not completed, the reservation is canceled and the area becomes available again.

4. Publication and duration

The ad is published automatically as soon as the payment is confirmed.

The space has no expiration date: the ad stays in its position for as long as the site is online. The owner undertakes to keep the site online for at least 5 years from the date of each purchase.

5. Changes to the ad

After payment, the buyer receives a private link that can be used to change the image, the title and the link of the ad as many times as desired. The position and the size cannot be changed. Anyone who has that link can edit the ad, so the buyer must keep it safe.

6. Permitted content

The buyer declares that they have the right to use the image, the text and the trademarks in their ad. Ads and links with the following are not accepted:

• illegal content or content that promotes illegal activities;
• sexual or adult content, violent content, or content that incites hatred or discrimination;
• scams, misleading advertising, malware or impersonation;
• gambling or betting without the corresponding license, weapons or drugs;
• content that infringes the rights of third parties (trademarks, copyright, image rights or personal data).

The owner may hide or remove an ad that breaks these rules. If the advertiser does not correct it, it will be removed permanently and the amount paid will be refunded, unless the content is unlawful or fraudulent.

7. Right of withdrawal

If the buyer is a consumer, they have 14 calendar days to withdraw from the purchase without giving any reason. However, when buying, the buyer expressly asks for the ad to be published immediately and accepts that, once it is published, the service has been fully performed and the right of withdrawal is lost, in accordance with article 103 of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007.

8. Refunds

If, because of a technical error, a payment is taken for an area that cannot be assigned, the full amount will be refunded to the same payment method.

9. What is not guaranteed

The presence of the ad in its position is guaranteed, but not any particular number of visits, clicks or sales.

10. Invoice

Anyone who needs an invoice can enter their tax details in the purchase form or ask for it afterward by writing to [to be completed].

11. Personal data

Personal data are processed as described in the privacy policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If the buyer is a consumer, the courts of the buyer’s place of residence have jurisdiction.
